Highlights

The US is home to many of the largest trade shows in the world. With more than 10,000 events in the US and often thousands of visitors at a single show, the trade show industry represents a substantial component of the US economy.

Some of the largest industry events showcased in the US are for example

• the NAB Show, the world's largest electronic media show
• the BIO International Convention, the largest global event for the biotechnology industry and
• the world’s largest cloud computing event Cloud Expo.

In the US Invest in Bavaria has also initiated their own event highlights in order to make best use of their extensive network and once again help local and Bavarian companies to connect and facilitate global expansion.
 
The East Coast office for example organizes the annual OktoberINVESTfest, an international investors and partnering forum in New York City. The event brings together executives across industries from the USA and Germany along with investors of all types as well as Bavarian and US State representatives.

The West Coast office is located in San Francisco, within close proximity to Silicon Valley - the world’s largest high-tech hub for innovation and development. The office organizes and supports events in the Western United States catering industries such as Life Sciences and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT).

Annual highlights include for example International CES Las Vegas, BIO International Convention, LA Autoshow and the Wearable Technologies Conference San Francisco.
