A report shows that Egypt ranks 56th out of 64 countries in global consumer AI adoption in 2025, with a rate of about 18%, based on downloads of the 100 most popular AI apps adjusted to population size. Despite the low ranking, adoption is growing rapidly, rising from 2% in 2023 to 9% in 2024 and 18% in 2025, while downloads increased from 1.8 million to 21.7 million.
