The Ministry of Military Production collaborated with Green Tech Egypt and Oak companies with the aim of establishing a new treatment plant in Abu Rawash, Giza.
The plant will treat municipal solid waste and convert it into electrical energy.
The station aims to convert “1,200 tonnes of waste per day to produce electricity at 30 megawatts per hour”.
The implementation of the station will achieve a positive impact on both the environment and the Egyptian economy.
