According to a statement from the Suez Canal Authority., Egypt’s Suez Canal will offer a 15% discount on transit fees for container ships with a net tonnage of at least 130,000 metric tons.
The discount will be applied starting from May 15, 2025, for a period of 90 days. It will apply to eligible container ships, whether full or empty.
