German industrial group Thyssenkrupp signed on 06.02.2024 a co-operation agreement to overhaul, re-operate, and expand two urea and ammonia plants in Egypt, the Egyptian Cabinet announced in a statement.
Under the agreement, Thyssenkrupp will work on the overhaul of Delta Company for Fertilisers and Chemical Industries – affiliated to Egypt’s state-owned Holding Company for Chemical Industries. The project includes the re-operation of the plant, and lifting the capacity of its urea and ammonia plants to a maximum of 1,400 tons/day.
